If you are on a diet, salads are a probably a big part of what you eat. But as we all know salad calories are not necessarily low. Some salads might have a high number of salad calories. Cheese calories are also a thing to watch out from. Regular cheese has a lot of fat in it. Topping your vegetables with cheese is adding fat and more salad calories. Either choose low fat cheese, like low fat cottage chees, or skip it all together.

The skin of a chicken is very high in fat and with the fat come more and more chicken calories.  If you are watching your weight, it is always a good recommendation to remove the skin and lower the amount of chicken calories you consume.

You realize how significant the skin (from a chicken calories point of view) when you read the numbers: 60 chicken calories difference in 3.5oz of chicken breast and 180 chicken calories difference in 3.5oz of chicken back! So off with the skin!
