I do like Starbucks, but as you stated: the calories in many beverages is high high high! especially in frappachinos with cream bases.

In both hot and cold beverages: ask if they have SUGAR FREE SYRUP.
One tsp. of the syrup has 70 calories. So in a grande and venti you are getting over 100 calories just from the syrup! Sugary free syrups have no calories which makes for a coffee that tastes the same, but the calories are cut.
I know they have SF syrup in: Vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, cinnamon dolce, and toffee nut. So next time you order a caramel frapapchino. Order a Sufarfree caramel caramel frappachino light

your body will thank you

I don't see how anyone can possibly eat just 1 cup of cooked rice. I need to eat at least 2 cups worth of dry rice.

I'm curious, are the calorie counts any different for short-grain rice? (I wash some of the excess starch off before I cook it.)
