September 27, 2008

Subway offers a variet of sandwiches and salads. That sounds healthy. But if you have a close look at the subway calories details you’ll notice some products are healthier than others. Let’s check out the subway calories options.

If you are going to have a sandwich, think twice before choosing between the 6 inch and the foot long. It is obvious that a foot long has twice the subway calories. And twice can be a lot! Check out this example:

A 6 inch turkey breast sandwich has 280 calories, a foot long has 560 calories.
A 6 inch double meat italian BMT sandwich has 630 calories. That’s more than the foot long turkey breast! And a foot long double meat italian BMT sandwich has 1260 calories!
